Santa's a Cry Baby

Got plenty of Holiday cheer? Well, we're here to bring you down. Oh, yes.

We had so much positive response from last year's session involving downer tunes for the Yuletide season, we decided to add some new weepers to the mix.

Nothing beats a cheese log at Xmas, so Jimmy Martin, Jimmie Davis, Johnny Paycheck, and Doye O'Dell have joined forces to send y'all spiraling into the nether regions of depression and/or fits of laughter.

To make up for the treacle, we've got some super nifty bonus re-posts. Three of the Mountain's biggies, no less. Each one essential. Yep, it's a jungle rhythm theme with classic Christmas tunes from The Marquees, rockabilly maestroJack Scott, and god's favorite band, The Replacements. Can it get any better than that?

Santa's A Weepy Bastard.

Jimmy and Lisa Sara Martin: Daddy, Will Santa Claus Ever Have To Die (mp3)

Jimmie Davis: Forgive Me Santa (mp3)

Johnny Paycheck: Mommy For Awhile On Christmas Day (mp3)

Doye O'Dell: Dear Mr. Santa (mp3)

Bonus Jungle Rockin' Stocking Stuffer Re-Posts

The Marquees: Christmas In The Congo (mp3)

Jack Scott: There's Trouble Brewin' (mp3)

The Replacements: Bundle Up (mp3)

Blah, blah, blah. It's Christmas in a bad economy. Give what you can, support who you can support.
